ISE Corporation Appoints Key Sales and Marketing Personnel

SAN DIEGO, CA, April 6, 2004 — Robert M. Shaughnessy's industry experience includes nearly four years as President of Nova BUS. Prior to working at Nova, Shaughnessy held senior executive positions at several companies in the automotive industry, including Navistar International, the Kenworth Truck Company, Bell & Howell, and Ford.

John D. Addison has been president of OPTIMARK, a firm that helps technology firms accelerate growth, with past clients such as General Electric and Veritas. Addison authored Revenue Rocket: New Strategies for Selling with Partners. As Area Channels Manager at Sun Microsystems in 1998-92, Addison grew channel sales from $4 million to $110 million in three years. Addison also has sales experience with Intellicorp, Hewlett-Packard, and Unisys. Mr. Addison is a board member of the California Hydrogen Business Council.

Shaughnessy and Addison will focus their near term efforts on selling ISE's hybrid-electric drive systems for transit bus applications. ISE's ThunderVolt hybrid-electric drive system has shown the ability to significantly reduce emissions and improve fuel economy in several transit bus demonstration projects, and enters large scale production in 2004.
