ISE Corporation Hosts Ohio Governor Taft

SAN DIEGO, CA, June 2, 2006 — hio Governor Bob Taft visited ISE Corporation facility June 2 to learn more about the progress of the company's hybrid electric drive system applications for heavy-duty vehicles. The Governor had lunch with ISE's executives, viewed a short presentation of the company and its product lines, toured the production facility, and inspected two hybrid electric vehicles.

Among the topics discussed were possible broad cooperation between ISE and several Ohio organizations on hydrogen vehicle development, especially fuel cell applications.

Accompanying the Governor was Jamie Gentry, Business Development Representative/Agribusiness Liaison for the State of Ohio. Representing ISE were David Mazaika, President and CEO; Gary Willms, Vice President Business Development; Paul Scott, Chief Science Officer; Tom Bartley, Manager of New Business; and Cuong Huynh, Manager Marketing Communications.

During the ISE production facility tour, the Governor inspected the gasoline hybrid cradle on display, walked through the hybrid system production line, and surveyed a number of hybrid system-to-vehicle integration work in progress. ISE also made available two hybrid vehicles for the Governor's inspection and test drive: the new fuel-cell tractor, and the Long Beach Transit gasoline hybrid 40-foot bus.
